E.P. Carrillo Short Run 2013 Robusto

Released in 2013 we liked the blend to begin with but decided to age some boxes in our Vintage Room and see how they would be once they mellowed out a bit.  We cracked a box of each size and tested them out in March of 2016 and they smoked really well.  The bands have become a little loose which I always look for in a properly aged cigar.  Very smooth at the beginning with a little cedar finish and then some spice on the retro-hale.  Opens up nicely and has a little sweet creaminess to it that fits nicely with the spice.  Very nice draw as you would expect from E.P. Carrillo and a solid construction that has held up nicely in the aging process.  We have a limited supply of these Short Runs so if you're a Carrillo fan or just a mild to medium bodied smoker give these a try, I think you'll be pleased.
